Glossary Management via Kanban

Who doesn’t love Kanbans? The feeling of moving cards into the “done” field is enough to excite anyone! We added a Kanban board function to transition terms for glossary approval.

Contentful Connector + Translation Memory Updates

A few weeks ago, we completed our connector between Bureau Works and Contentful. Now, you can manage translations directly in Contentful without having to switch to our TMS. Plus, changes made in Bureau Works can be automatically deployed to Contentful, keeping your content up to date in all your languages.

Even more recently, we updated how Contentful connects to your translation memory. Changes made in Contentful are now sent to Bureau Works for insertion into the Translation Memory.

Expanding White Label Capabilities (Customize Your Email with Your Logo, Colors, and More)

New email customization feature to enhance brand's communication through tailored emails. This feature provides a standardized template that allows you to customize key elements and white label your brand, ensuring each email aligns perfectly with your identity.

This feature is perfect for LSPs and agencies that want to establish a clear and coherent brand identity in every one of their communications.

A complete upgrade to enhance your experience

‍We're pleased to announce that CloudFront, a content delivery network by AWS, has been added to our production environment. This addition has significantly improved the performance of our platform by caching content, such as web videos and other media, closer to users globally.

More insights for translators

Translators can now see the Fuzzy Search Match Percentage directly from the Search TM tab, providing greater insight into translation matches.

No more stressing over fonts

‍We've introduced the ability to force specific fonts in MS Office documents when downloading translations. For example, if the source file uses Times New Roman, you can now set the target file to use Arial.

‍New Notifications

• Project Managers and Contacts will receive notifications regarding project status updates.
• Vendors will receive email notifications about tasks assigned to them and when previous tasks are completed.

More flexibility in approving projects

Project approval with zero calculated costs is now enabled. This means that you have more flexibility in approving projects, not less! Now, clients with a 100% match or those wishing to delete costs can approve projects with zero value.

Pre/Post Logfile Analysis

There is a controversy you are probably aware of: Pay the translators based on pre or post analysis. Bureau Works allows you to do either one! We've introduced the ability to issue both pre-analysis and post-analysis logfiles, allowing you to configure budgets based on either pre or post-analysis at the account and unit levels.
